Elise Larsen, a Post-doctoral Associate at The Ries Lab of Butterfly Informatics at Georgetown University assists with a citizen science butterfly survey in Reston, Virginia.

The citizen science group tallies data after a morning of counting butterflies and dragonflies. The group has put social distancing rules in place such as requiring masks and only allowing one person per bench. Many members even bring their own fold
